A member of the secret group S1W, which works against the corrup government, Asha is a woman with informants. She helps Max save Logan from the virus a few times, and in turn Max saves her from prison. Max, Alec, and a special unit, Brain, help get Asha out of a sticky situation with the cops whilst flushing out an S1W traitor. She is a potential love-interest of Logan.

Once a transgenic-hater like Normal, Sketchy is not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. Max trusts him, however, and he is another leading face in the pro-transgenic movement.

Max's best friend and roommate who has gotten Max out of a lot more trouble than she's credited for, but has also gotten her friend into some sticky situations. She isn't afraid of others' opinions, this fact highlighted by her saucy speech and feminist attitude.

Once Max's greatest obstacle, when he found that Renfro was killing off his 'kids' he turned against Manticore and helped Max, Syl, Krit, and Zack destroy the DNA labs. He disappeared around the time that the Familiars were discovered, but hits the scene once again - but he brings no good news.

Born with the proverbial silver spoon in his mouth, Logan Cale was crippled two years ago from a gunshot wound that damaged his spine. He fights against the corrupt government and was once the love-interest of Max until Manticore put a genetically-encoded virus into her - a virus that would kill Logan if they made contact. Also known as Eyes Only.
