Hundreds of transgenics are housed in Terminal City.  Keep in mind that these are just a few.  Don't write this list down.  Don't memorize it.  It exists here and only here.  Should the enemy get this information your position will be pinpointed and you will be teriminated.

The citizens of Terminal City include anomalies, trans-humans, and Xs.  Those are the basic and most populous types.

Anomalies have animal-like features, but they walk on two legs and can speak English as well as any Ordinary.

Trans-humans appear to be nothing more than deformed Ordinaries.  They may have a single eye or an odd growth, but they still have the intelligence and abilities of the other transgenics.

Xs are the most volatile and dangerous form of transgenics.  Appearing as no more than Ordinaries, the only way to tell their transgenic heritage is by spotting the barcode on the backs of their necks.  Xs are made especially beauitful and handsome to throw the enemy off-guard and invoke an impression of innocence.  They are quick-learners, deadly assassins, and borderline geniuses.  They are Manticore's pride.

Max - X Series - X5-452

The unofficial leader of Terminal City.  She is 'the one,' said to be the savior of humanity.  One of the twelve to escape Manticore back in '09, she has been on the run for the past eleven years from those that want to put her back into a cage; to make her forget she was ever on the outside.  She destroyed Manticore, or at least she thought she did, and set the transgenics free.  Even so, she is still hunted.  This time it is by a selective-breeding cult called 'the Familiars.'  Her biggest foe is Ames White, who has succeeded in ruining her life forever.  It's up to her to save first Terminal City, then, maybe, all of humanity.

Joshua - Anomaly - Canine

He was the first to be created by Sandeman.  A loyal friend to Max and Alec, Joshua has become a vital part of Terminal City's protection.  He took down two Familiars in the hostage-situation at Jam Pony, including Ames White, but had enough sense left in him not to kill White, who had brutally murdered his girlfriend, a blind woman named Annie.

Alec - X Series - X5-494

When Manticore re-captured Max, X5-494 was made her breeding partner to produce new DNA strands for Manticore to work with after the destruction of the first lab.  Max refused, however, and 494 quickly earned the name of Alec, short for smart-alec, for his sarcastic and overly-confident attitude.  Max and Alec haven't exactly gotten along the entire time, but over time they have grown closer.

Mole - Anomaly - Unknown

Originally built to dig trenches on the battleground, Mole is a hot-headed and untrusting anomaly whose attitude toward Ordinaries isn't exactly friendly.  However, his distrust of Ordinaries is usually justified.

eddie4.jpg
Eddie - Anomaly - Feline

Eddie, even though she just turned sixteen, is a fiesty and quick-footed transgenic that helps Max get Logan, OC, and Sketchy out of Terminal City.  That is, after helping Zack, Syl, Krit, and Brin inside the city.  Sassy, sarcastic, and always affectionate, she is most always seen with her 18-year-old X-series boyfriend, Pick.

Pick - X Series - X6-901

Eddie's doting boyfriend, Pick is usually nothing more than a harmless pup, but when danger comes around (especially if it involves Eddie) he is a fierce and intimidating enemy.  Their romance is a symbol of hope for many of the teenage transgenics, for most of them love is a foreign and unneeded thing.  He also helps Max in the retrieval of her siblings, proving to be a powerful ally.

krit.jpg
Krit - X Series - X5-471

Blood brother to Max and married to Syl, Krit is one of the twelve escapees of '09.  He helped destroy the DNA lab in Manticore and is the new, self-proclaimed protecter of the X5s that escaped in '09.

syl.jpg
Syl - X Series - X5-701

Married to Krit and also pregnant with his child, Syl is one of the '09 escapees.  A blonde bombshell, Syl has a naturally attractive attitude and tends to use that to her advantage to influence people against their better judgement. (Not to be confused with a psy-ops) She also helped destroy the Manticore DNA lab.

brin.jpg
Brin - X Series - X5-734

Brin, the smallest of the '09 escapees, is very much a big person in a small package.  With training in several different types of martial arts, she is a valuable asset to the transgenic team.  She was re-captured a year ago when she began to age rapidly, a common side effect of being a transgenic.  They reindoctrinated her and she almost prevented Max from blowing up the DNA lab, but ultimately failed.  After Max destroyed Manticore she was set free once again, then pregnant due to the Manticore breeding program.  Her child's name is, after a deceased X brother.

Zack - X Series Alpha - X5-599

The strict ex-CO of the Manticore '09 escapees, Zack himself didn't escape Manticore until a few months after the big escape.  When he did escape, he made himself the protector of all his X brothers and sisters, most of the time causing them pain that wasn't worth the 'safety' he claimed he gave them.  He persuaded Tinga to leave her family and nearly got Max to leave Seattle, but her ties to Logan and the Jam Pony crew held her back.  He killed himself with a bullet to the head in order to donate his heart to a dying Max when they destroyed the Manticore DNA lab.  Manticore placed a virtual memory lobe inside his brain that would slowly replace his memory.  This, however, created some problems, and Max ended up having to erase his memory once again with a severe electric shock.  After this, he was sent to be a farmhand and renamed Adam, never intended to be Zack again.  When the hostage situation at Jam Pony arose, however, Syl and Krit made their presence known and revived their CO's memories to bring him to Terminal City.

jondy.jpg
Jondy - X Series - X5-210

A born critic, Jondy is usually the first to make a rude comment that everyone else is too embarassed to admit and the last to say she's sorry.  She has been distanced from the rest of the X5s most of her life, but has kept her location clear through Zack.  When the situation in Terminal City arose, Jondy was the first and most enthusiastic to volunteer to help their youngest sister.

zane.jpg
Zane - X Series - X5-205

The actual brother of Zack, Zane is the self-proclaimed leader of the Xs housed in an old hotel.  Strong-willed and hard-headed, he refused to hand control of the Xs over to Alec and Max and, in turn, was humiliated when Alec beat him up and handcuffed him to a window.  He is one of the twelve '09 escapees and a key player in the transgenic war.
